What does RED Cam cost?
The app is free with ads. The optional Pro upgrade removes ads and the watermark for good, as a subscription or a one-time purchase. The price is shown in Google Play.
How does RED Cam make money?
Through ads in the free version and the optional Pro upgrade. We do not sell data and your photos are not uploaded.
Does RED Cam use a real thermal sensor?
No. Phones do not have thermal sensors. RED Cam maps the brightness of your photo to thermal colour gradients. It is a creative photo effect – it does not measure temperature and does not replace a real thermal camera.
Can I use photos I already took?
Yes. Load a photo from your gallery or take a new one with the camera, then pick a filter and save or share the result.
Do my photos leave my phone?
No. Editing happens on your device. Your photos are not uploaded and you do not need an account.
How do I get rid of the watermark?
Watch a short video to export without a watermark. Pro removes the watermark and ads permanently.
How do I cancel Pro?
Manage or cancel your subscription anytime in the Google Play subscriptions screen. The one-time purchase does not need to be cancelled.
